How do I join?

You can submit a membership application below. A prospective member will be officially inducted into the club at a meeting after their application is accepted by the Board of Directors and their first year dues are received. We typically encourage prospective members to attend at least one meeting and service project before officially joining to make sure the club works for them.

Why should I join?

Kiwanis provides an experience that can’t be matched by any other service organisation or volunteer network in the UK.  With both social events and service projects, Kiwanis allows you to make new friends, network with young professionals throughout The United Kingdom, and give back to the community at the same time.  In addition to volunteering with community organisations such as food Banks, we are able to combine our talents to organise larger-scale projects and sponsor youth programs that directly impact the lives of children and youth 

We encourage members to be part of committees within the Club/District.. We have found that this has helped individuals to develop skills in areas such as:

Leadership

Branding,Marketing & Communications 

Event Management

Administration

Finance

Kiwanis International has been serving the children of the world since 1915.  In addition to projects that each Kiwanis Club does in its local community, Kiwanians team up from around the world to make a large impact on global public health issues, such as iodine deficiency disorder and maternal/neonatal tetanus.

What is expected from members?

We do not expect our members to attend every single meeting, social event, and service project.  We are all busy with work, study, family life, social commitments, and a million other things.  We plan a wide array of meetings, social events, and service projects so that you can participate in projects when they fit into your schedule.

How much does it cost?

£95 per year (roughly £8 per month!) for membership dues. In addition to supporting our club’s administrative expenses, these amounts are inclusive of all dues: Kiwanis International, Kiwanis Europe and Kiwanis UK.

Please note, membership fees for alumni of Circle K International and Key Club International will be discounted  for their first year of joining. Therefore, if you are a CKI or Key Club alumni, your first year membership will only cost £55.
